いろはにほへと

わかよたれそ

色は匂へど
散りぬるを
我が世誰ぞ

有為の奥山
今日越えて

Be their colors fragrant,
They will fall.
In our world there is
No one eternal.
The mountain of creation,
Today we are crossing,
Without shallow dreaming,
And without drunkenness.

Though fragrant are the colors,
Yet shall the flowers scatter.
Who in our world
Could forever endure?
Over the mountain of transcendence
Let us today cross,
And there will be no more shallow dreams,
